Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich is writing off the federal investigation into racial discrimination in the Antelope Valley as “overkill” and “grandstanding”.
“It’s overkill for the Department of Justice to launch an independent investigation while the Sheriff, along with the Office of Independent Review and the Community Development Commission are days away from concluding their own investigation,” said Antonovich. “Inquiries should be based on compelling evidence and facts, not grandstanding.”
Antonovich continued: “Allegations of racial discrimination are absurd when 86% of the Section 8 recipients in Lancaster and Palmdale are comprised of minorities. Political pressure to eliminate investigators assigned to the Antelope Valley will have a devastating effect on the County’s ability to root out fraud with only three investigators countywide,” said Antonovich. “Meanwhile, over 200,000 eligible families and seniors remain on the County’s Section 8 waiting list.”

Yeah it’s not discrimination when your a white male Antonovich. When you haven’t been thrown in back of a police car not because you are suspected of committing a crime, but because you are under suspicion of being on probation or parole based on the color of your skin, not on the content of your character. And when they figure out your not on probation or parole and have never committed a crime they hold you longer just for fun.You didn’t have police officers along with inspectors violate your constitutional rights to you and tell you that you had to comply with a random inspection. Yeah Antonovich you haven’t had that happen to you, because your a white male in America with nothing to fear except paying your taxes on time.
