PALMDALE – Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich is offering a $10,000 reward in exchange for any information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the person responsible for the 2010 murder of Daniel Dotson.
Dotson, a 28-year-old black man, was shot and killed around 11 p.m., on Nov. 24, 2010, in the rear parking area of his residence on the 38500 block of 5th Street East in Palmdale.
Investigators believe Dotson may have discovered someone going through the contents of his vehicle. The LA Times reports Dotson was shot in the torso and buttocks and died about 30 minutes after the assault. Witnesses to the incident described the shooter as black male, according to the LA Times.
The Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau is seeking assistance from the public to solve this crime.
