PALMDALE – There will be open auditions for the upcoming musical production of “Stuart Little.” Auditions will take place on Friday, Jan. 6 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. at the Palmdale Playhouse, located at 38334 10th St. East in Palmdale.
“Directed by Patricia Graham, this musical version of E.B. White’s classic follows the adventures of a little mouse who lives with his human New York family,” said Theatre Production Assistant Linda Willis. “The many adventures – both big and small – of Stuart Little are brought to life in this musical.”
Performers should be prepared to read sides from the script, learn a short dance number and sing a short piece of their choice. An accompanist will be provided. Roles are available for male and female, ages 11 to young adult.
The production is produced by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing Company.
“Stuart Little” performances will be held at the Palmdale Playhouse on Friday and Saturday, March 2, 3, 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 4 and 11 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 and $10.
