LITTLEROCK – A 36-year-old man died Saturday after sustaining injuries from being thrown from his pickup truck and then pinned underneath the vehicle in the Little Rock Wash, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Abel Hernandez.
Moises Vizcaino, of Palmdale, died at the scene and was the only person inside the vehicle, Hernandez said.
Hernandez said Vizcaino was driving a Chevy Silverado traveling west on Avenue R near 90th Street East at an unknown rate of speed, when he apparently lost control of the vehicle. The truck flipped several times, tossing Vizcaino from the vehicle, and then landed on top of him in the Little Rock Wash.
Hernandez said the accident happened at an unknown time, but was reported to the CHP around 8 a.m. Saturday.
