LANCASTER – Arts & Crafts Vendor applications are being accepted for the 21st annual California Poppy Festival, which will be held on April 21 and 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Lancaster City Park, 43063 10th Street West.
All artists, painters, photographers, sculptors, clothing designers, jewelry makers, and those adept with woodwork, ironwork or glass compositions should make their craft skills known at this one-of-a-kind event in the Antelope Valley. The Poppy Festival is a great place to showcase artistic talents, and make money while doing so.
Attracting more than 45,000 visitors each year, this two-day Festival provides an exceptional opportunity for networking, with both festival-goers and other vendors from across the nation. The possibilities are endless, and come at a meager cost of just $200 per booth space. Each booth space is 12′ by 12′ and only needs your canopy and accessorizing to complete your unique and highly-trafficked display of beautiful and creative works.
In addition to art, crafts, and fine arts, the California Poppy Festival will feature multiple stages of exciting live entertainment, a farmers’ market, carnival rides, exotic cuisine, festival food favorites, and more. New to the Festival this year will be a spine-tingling live shark exhibit. With these amazing activities going on all weekend, you’ll want to bring a partner along to man your booth while you enjoy some of the festivities as well.
The 2012 California Poppy Festival promises to be another fun-filled event for the entire family. Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of the action!
