PALMDALE – The Palmdale Sheriff’s Station Traffic Unit will be conducting a DUI Checkpoint on Friday, March 23, 2012 at an undisclosed location within the city limits between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m.
Deputies will be contacting drivers passing through the checkpoint for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment. Deputies will also check for proper licensing and will strive to delay motorists only momentarily.
Drivers caught driving impaired can expect jail, license suspension, and insurance increases, as well as fines, fees, DUI classes, other expenses that can exceed $10,000.
“Over the course of the past three years, DUI collisions have claimed 7 lives and resulted in 88 injury crashes harming 121 of our friends and neighbors,” said Sergeant M. Johnston.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), checkpoints have provided the most effective documented results of any of the DUI enforcement strategies, while also yielding considerable cost savings of $6 for every $1 spent. Checkpoints are placed in locations that have the greatest opportunity for achieving drunk and drugged driving deterrence and provide the greatest safety for officers and the public.
Additionally, personnel from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station will be deploying special DUI saturation patrols through-out the remainder of the month looking specifically for impaired drivers on our roadways.
“Deaths from drunk and drug-impaired driving are going down in California,” said Christopher J. Murphy, Director of the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS). “But that still means that hundreds of our friends, family and co-workers are killed each year, along with tens of thousands who are seriously injured. We must all continue to work together to bring an end to these tragedies. If you see a Drunk Driver – Call 9-1-1.”
Funding for this checkpoint is provided to the City of Palmdale by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Ace. I advocate that people think across racial,cutural and ethnic lines !
I encourage people to think,reason,reflect,,compare and investigate what
ever it is they claim to believe.Most people who claim various faiths don’t
even now the first paragraph of what its they profess!!! This is why there
is so uch chaos,violence and confusion coming from people while yet claiming particular faiths. Yes, we all fall short,make mistakes and sometimes veer off course but for the most part the average person lives
in fantacy land when it comes to scripture ! Their beliefs have no base
in reality ! I am sure you have heard the coment ” The man up stairs ”
there is no man up stairs or in the middle of the sky sitting in a chair!
However, this is the common undestanding,theres this man in the shy
listening to seven billion conversations who hears all and knows all
and answers our prayers ! Ludicrous!
Months ago as I was in service the preacher was talking about when we
get to heaven we were all going to be with Jesus. I asked him to imagine
that we were all in heaven with Jesus, now that we are with Jesus what
is the next stage ? Do we just form a circle around Jesus and just chant
Jesus day and night ? What is the logic of being with Jesus up in the
sky ? Is it for milk and honey ? Is it for the good life ? Is it for
peace and happiness ? Is it for nice clothes,furniture and the finer
things of life ? I wanted to show the preacher and the congregation you
can purchase all these things at wal mart !!
I wanted to demonstrate the peace and heaven the congregation desired
could exist here and now in their lives and the fact of the matter
is it is ‘ mind ‘ thing ! It is mental and spiritual bliss, it is moral
and intellectual peace of mind, I mind that never thrist becuase the vast
knowledge that exist through out eternity !
Bible Luke 17verse 20and21 the kingdom of God comes not with observation;
neither shall they say,look here ! or look there ! for behold,the kingdom
of God is within you !
For centuries relgion has been used to dupe people,rob them of heaven
and earth ! Jesus prayer (its called the lords prayer),thou will be done
on earth as it is in heaven! What heaven ? When we look up at the all the stars and planets that are in orbit we order,peace, serenity,bliss and
harmony ! Jesus wanted that same peace to exist on earth and within
ourselves ! We are conneced with the entire universe! Everything that is
within the heavens and the earth is within us ! Every electron,every
neutron,every proton and every partical that exist with the universe,all
the elements is within us,inscribed in our DNA !
Ace. I am trying to get the people to see that when ever you pick up any
book the idea is to have a personal dialogue with the reader ! The bible
and the Qur’an is to associate the indiviual with himself,his existence,
his purpose and role in this universe,right here and right now ! The
language has its roots in he order of things,in the earth ! If it speaks
of devils,demons,spirits,angels,satan,lucifer,evil,heaven and hell
it is all right here on earth inside of man on one level or another !!!
Good or bad,evil or righteous,up there or down here is all relative !
I have split the atom !!! The money changers,charlatans,sooth sayers,
pimps in religion,dooms day preachers and slicksters who shake people
down for their moneys be on notice, this is judgment day ! People
are waking up all around the world breaking out of the mental shakels
that were placed on their minds with twisted interpretations deisgned
to enslave them while kings and rulers enjoyed the finer things of
life at the expense of the people ! As long as they can keep your mind
looking up and looking down they can keep their hands in your pocket
to pay the morage,the car notes and expensive trips to the Islands !
The jigs up,the cats out of the bag,the geni is out of the bottle and the
pandorus box has been opened !!!
Ace. Everything is for real ! I got the keys and the earth is shaking
and they are saying ” stop majeed!” He is going to wake them up and
empower them the people with pratical knowledge and concepts to manage
and take charge of their lives ! Cut Majeed off,block him becuase once
they hear him we will no longer have a grip over the hearts and minds
of the people ! This is judgment day ! Everyday all day !!! And forever !
This is the day and time to free your mind from mis-conceptions,mind
manipulation and exploitation ! The Qur’an and Bible are books of
enlightenment but when used in-correctly they can be used to enslave,coral
and bind the mind !
We are inviting people from every walk of life creed,class and color to
checkout your mind ! Learn to truly think outside of the box! If you
have a pne track mind,you are still in the box! If you are affraid to
think outside of what you have been tained and conditioned to think
in,you are still in a box! Read,study,travel,live,open up your mind and
stop being taken for aride !Read,compare,test,reflect,get rooted !
We arenot talking about a bunch of quotations and babble. We are encouraing

I mentioned minister louis Farrakhan in the last post. I also mentioned
Wallace D.Mohammad, Dr.Naim Akbar and their are so many other great scholars and teachers I have heard. Ace. I am a free thinker. I encourage
everyone to think. People put you down and I don’t pay attention to
that stuff. My concern is humanity and making a difference ! People
put minister Farrakhan down and they disagree with hi on various issues.
Thats their right and prerogative. As for myself,if and when I hear
him say something I like or agree with I will ackmowledge that and not
fear anyones condemnation! I am a people person,all people from every
walk of life and in every religion and non religion !I am passed that!
However, Ace. It was only recently that we came out of slavery,segregation
and a whole host of evils that nobody can deny! True, we have to get
passed this legacy but we must admit some folks are determined to live
in the musty old chambers of the past. Thus,we all must become more
and more vocal so that we don’t regress as opposed to progress.

Getting high is embeded within our culture, lets face it,it is the American
thing to set in front of the tv set and have a beer ! During the week we
long for the weekend to relax and seek out that satisfying taste of the bud
of choice. But here is an idea that can help maintain an on going high! Like fifty cent would say”he stays high all the time he smokes that good stuff.” Well here is another option,find your passion in life,seek out the
purpose and meaning of life and it will give you a high that will last for a life time! Discover who and what you are, your inner potential,creativity
and spritual dimensions and it will give you a high that won’t make you
drunk ! No jive !When you get a chance look at the wonders in creation,a
clear blue sky,the beautiful mountains and all the varities in creation,-
plans,fruits,animals and in all that exist and discover a way that you
can stay high all the time and it won’t cost you anything but a few moments
of your time! Wow!!! I stay high all the time I read that good stuff!!!
Take a break and read a good book and it just might save a life and it
might save you some time in jail !

Why exactly are we reporting this?? The whole point of these things is the surprise element. Catch people ” red handed.” We shouldn’t be announcing it at all, no matter if the location is ” secret” or not. Isn’t this in a way, enabling drunk driving? Like, ” heads up guys, they’re gonna be out tonight.” I really don’t get it. Just like I don’t get all those people who post the DUI checkpoints on their facebooks. If someone is making the reckless decision to drink and drive, they NEED to be caught, not know how to get around it.

The point is to prevent things from happening, not just to punish those who drink and drive.

It’s required by the courts. Anytime of these check points is set, the police have to place notice in the local media, give a way for motorists to turn around (but they have cops who go after those who do) and a bunch of other rules imposed by courts under the 4th Amendment on unreasonable search and seizure rules.
I’d like to know the number of cars stopped and checked, the number arrested for various infractions, including no drivers license (aka illegal aliens driving).
