Construction zones with traffic flow restrictions within the City of Lancaster through May 5, 2012.
- Lancaster BLVD will be closed on Saturday, April 28th between Date and Fig from approximately 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm for a “Take Back the Night” march to promote awareness of domestic violence and abuse. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
– - Lancaster BLVD will be closed every Thursday from Date Avenue to Fig Avenue from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the weekly farmer’s market. Parking in this area will not be permitted beginning at 11:00 a.m. to ensure that the area is vacated prior to set-up.
– - Toro Construction will be working on Division Street north of the Avenue K intersection. There will be no left turns in any direction at Division and Avenue K, including only one through lane eastbound, westbound and northbound, with no southbound lane restrictions through Wednesday, May 2nd. After May 2nd, the northbound lanes on Division at Avenue K will be reduced to one lane of travel with no lane restrictions for southbound traffic on Division and no lane restrictions for east and westbound traffic on Avenue K for recycled water main installation through May 31, 2012.
– - 50th Street West will be CLOSED between Avenue K and Avenue L-8 due to an L. A. County Storm Drain project through May 31, 2012.
– - Intermittent on-ramp, off-ramp and lane closures in all directions at Avenue I and the 14 Freeway through December 2012.
– - Intermittent lane closures on 10th Street West between Avenue K-8 and Avenue L due to a Southern California Edison utility project.
– - Intermittent lane closures on 15th Street West, South of Avenue J, due to the installation of new fire hydrants.
– - Intermittent lane closures on 30th Street East at Kettering due to utility and street improvements.
