LANCASTER – The City of Lancaster’s summer day camp, which features trips to Magic Mountain, Hurricane Harbor, Knott’s Berry Farm, and more, is still open for enrollment.
Camp Victory is an annual summer day camp offered by the city’s Parks, Recreation and Arts Department and is open to campers ages six through twelve.
Camp Victory features weekly excursions to locations throughout Southern California, including Magic Mountain, Raging Waters, and Knott’s Berry Farm. The program also offers youngsters an opportunity to enjoy activities such as arts & crafts, games, movies, skits, and weekly swimming trips.
The Monday-Friday day camp takes place over eight, one-week sessions held from June 18 – August 10.
Extended commuter hours are offered from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., while core camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most activities take place at Lancaster City Park.
Registration is now open and spots still remain for all eight weeks.
The cost to enroll is $150 per week for each camper (with the exception of week 3, which is only $120 as there is no program on the 4th of July).
Parents can secure a spot with a non-refundable $50 deposit for each week children are registered for participation. The $100 balance is due two weeks prior to each camp week start date.
A recent photo of each registered child is also required. Cash, check and credit card are all acceptable forms of payment.
