LANCASTER – A 21-year-old man was shot in east Lancaster late Saturday night by three assailants who tried to rob the man, authorities said.
Deputies responded to the call around 10:30 p.m. near 15th street east and Lancaster Boulevard, according to Lancaster Station Watch Sergeant Lane.
“Apparently the victim was talking on his phone walking south on 15th street east when he saw a vehicle drive past him and do a U-turn,” Lane said. “The vehicle stops, they get out of the car and demand his property, and then one of the suspects points a gun at him… he appears to have been shot in the abdomen.”
It was unclear whether the suspects were able to obtain any property from the man, Lane said.
The victim told investigators there were three suspects.
“There were two male blacks and a female black who was the driver,” Lane said. “We don’t have an age range on them.”
Lane said one of the assailants was described as wearing a white shirt and blue jean shorts, while the second assailant was wearing a blue shirt, and the female was wearing a white shirt.
The assailants fled westbound on Avenue J in a Silver Honda Civic, according to a Lancaster Station broadcast.
The 21-year-old victim was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital where his condition is unknown, Lane said.
The investigating is still ongoing. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to contact Lancaster Station detectives at 661-948-8466. Who’s committing the most heinous crimes in the Antelope valley?
Julie says
Bad people with no conscience or regard for humanity :(
sacryinshame says
Thank you Julie. That’s the bottom line.
Stinger says
It is difficult to have a regard for other people’s humanity when one has not learned to have a regard for one’s own.
This is not offered as any kind of excuse, merely an observation.
Julie says
I agree Stinger..many horrific crimes are committed by people who’ve had horrific lives..that is a sad fact..I wish for peace and the ‘awareness’ to make a difference in peoples lives..even if it’s just my time. The greatest gift you can give someone is your time..and it’s very very rare these days!
Actually, my original comment should simply have been-
‘People with no regard for humanity’-who am I to assume complete badness and no conscience….?

“…two male blacks and a female black…”
Thanks Darren Parker, V. Jesse Smith, Pharoah Mitchell and Juan Blanco!

Help me out here. How are those four people responsible for this shooting? Am I missing something?
really says
They arent. They are however complicit in an effort to stifle the abuses of government programs in this valley. They are protecting the very people who abuse the system and in turn this allows criminals to feel empowered and encourages other undesirables to come here because they know there is little supervision of govt aide and the deputies out here are spread far to thin to be effective…
Quigley says
Damn really I wish you were wrong, but we all know you’re not…how depressing!
Stinger says
You have a point. However, the reverse is also true. People like Parris encourage and germinate abuses of authority, which in turn gives a feeling of empowerment to those in authority who would violate constitutional rights.
It does seem to be a vicious circle, does it not?

“Stinger” your making that borborygmus sound again!
Stinger says
An ad hominem attack for a legitimate observation that was fairly stated. Typical.

Let ‘s not forget Jerry Brown.

As long as it’s ghetto hood rat vs. ghetto hood rat, it’s good news to me!!!
Shondra Jackson says
Yep, called genocide between ghetto hood rats! If this continues one group of people will be eliminated and they have done it all on their own! Shame!
