LANCASTER – Nearly a dozen arrests were made Thursday during an anti-theft operation at two large retailers in west Lancaster.
“Operation Sticky Fingers” was conducted by the Antelope Valley Crime Fighting Initiative (A.V.C.F.I.), including the Lancaster TOP/CORE team, LAN-CAP, North County COPS, Palmdale PAC team, and the North County C.I.T. team.
The following people were arrested:
* Eric Boozer, 53, Male, Hispanic of Rosamond, arrested for BURGLARY
* Matthew Hoegner, 32, Male, White of Lancaster, arrested for BURGLARY
* Larry Thrasher, 41, Male, White of Lancaster, arrested for BURGLARY
* Randall Williams, 40, Male, Black of Lancaster, arrested for BURGLARY
* Two juveniles of Lancaster, arrested for BURGLARY
* Ernesto Aleman, 29, Male, Hispanic of Rosamond, arrested for PETTY THEFT
* George Boles, 72, Male, Black of Lancaster, arrested for PETTY THEFT
* Barbara Kinney, 52, Female, White of Rosamond, arrested for PETTY THEFT
* Brenden Barton, 25, Male, White of Lancaster, was arrested for a FELONY WARRANT FOR ABSCONDING FROM WORK RELEASE
* Tracy Pinto, 39, Female, White of Lancaster, arrested for THEFT OF US MAIL, NARCOTICS PARAPHERNALIA, EX-FELON IN POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION, POSSESSION OF A BILLY CLUB
About 36 deputies and two probation officers took part in Thursday’s anti-theft operation. The suspects arrested Thursday join the list of more than 40 people arrested during “Sticky Fingers” operations in the final months of 2012. (Read more here.)
