LANCASTER – A seminar this coming Saturday promises to offer a unique opportunity to see the Middle East from a Palestinian perspective, as well as hear the story of one family and the challenges it has faced in the Middle East over the last three generations.
The seminar is titled on “Peace in the Middle East: Reality or Illusion?” and it will feature Kamal Al-Katib, Executive Director of the Guidance Charter School in Palmdale.
The event takes place at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at Lancaster United Methodist Church, at 918 West Avenue J in Lancaster.
Al-Katib will be speaking on the options for peace in the Middle East and a time questions and answers will follow his presentation.
Al-Katib’s family is of Palestinian origin, and he was educated in Jordan at the Yarmouk University. He graduated in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration & Accounting.
