Man killed, girlfriend wounded in Littlerock double shooting

LITTLEROCK –A man was killed and his girlfriend was wounded in an early morning double shooting at a home in Littlerock. The couple’s roommate is wanted in connection with the shooting, authorities said.

The incident occurred around 12:08 a.m. on Thursday (June 27) at a residence in the 35700 block of 82nd Street East, according to a press report by the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau.

Detectives say the victims were boyfriend and girlfriend, and they lived with the male suspect at the residence.

The couple got into an hours-long argument with the suspect that escalated into violence, detectives said.

At some point during the argument, the roommate allegedly grabbed a gun and shot the couple, killing the man and wounding the woman, according to detectives.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was still outstanding, and authorities had not released the names of the couple or the alleged shooter as of Thursday afternoon.

  3. I see the rocking horse in the picture…sad. Kids are a source of income and food for many people. The more kids you have, the more $$ you get and the more food stamps. Damn…now if they just didn’t have to take care of them…hmmm
