LANCASTER – Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help to determine the identity and the motive of the suspect who shot a man at a Lancaster trailer park Wednesday afternoon.
Around 1:19 p.m., Lancaster Station deputies responded to the Desert Sands Estates Mobile Home Park in the 45000 Block of 25th Street East. Once deputies arrived on the scene, they found a black male who had been shot in a mobile home, according to Lancaster Community Relations deputy Miguel Ruiz.
The victim was immediately treated and transported to a local area hospital. As of Thursday, the victim was in stable condition, Ruiz stated.
The cause of the assault is still being investigated and no other victims were located, Ruiz stated.
Investigators are attempting to locate an unknown black male suspect, and are asking for the public’s help.

It’s a trailer park for Gods sake. I’m sure the whole park heard the shot…Maybe they know who it is, or saw someone but afraid of retaliation. Not the greatest area…Hope they catch the suspect.

When I first glanced at the Recent Comments column on the right, I only saw the first line and thought “…trailer park for Gods”. It must be a really upscale place. Maybe Rex Parris lives there.
