SANTA CLARITA – Calling all local bikers! You’re invited to the first annual Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station “10-33” Benefit Ride this Saturday, Oct. 26, starting at 9 a.m.
Proceeds from the ride will support Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Devin Freeman, who is battling advanced-stage liver cancer.
The ride will start at Glendale Harley-Davidson, located at 3717 San Fernando Road in Glendale. The caravanning motorcycles will then be escorted by law enforcement personnel to Route 66 Classic Grill in Santa Clarita, where the ride will end and the post ride party will begin.
The party will feature live entertainment, wonderful raffle prizes, and great food.
Custom, classic, or hot rod vehicles are welcome to participate, driving behind all of the motorcycles. Those who cannot participate in the ride are welcome to join the fun at Route 66 Grill, located at 18730 Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country.
All motorcycle riders are welcome, however, no outlaw motorcycle colors shall be worn and all laws will be enforced at this event.
The mission of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station “10-33” Benefit ride fund is to provide assistance to the families of peace officers and fire fighters who have been killed or seriously injured in the line of duty, or who have a life threatening or incapacitating illness.
