LANCASTER – This weekend Thunder on the Lot will be holding its 20th annual motorcycle and car festival in Lancaster.
The family-friendly event will take place from 2 to 8 p.m., Saturday, June 7 and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, June 8 at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, located at 2551 West Avenue H in Lancaster.
This year’s Thunder on the Lot will feature a live performance from the L.A. Cast of Beatlemania, an art and film exhibit on the 1969 counterculture classic film Easy Rider, celebrity meet and greets, burnout competitions, drifting races, motorcycle stunt riders, raffles and giveaways, live music and over 100 vendors.
Thunder on the Lot is a charity event to raise money for Antelope Valley organizations through Antelope Valley Kids Charities.
It is anticipated that this year’s event will raise more than $250,000, adding to the more than $3.8 million raised over that last 20 years.
Saturday admission is $10 per person, with children 12 and under free. Sunday admission is free and concert seating is first come first serve.
