PALMDALE – Kids of all ages flocked to the Palmdale City Library Tuesday afternoon to meet some of the wild animals they had been reading about.
As part of the Palmdale City Library’s ongoing Summer Reading Program, themed “Paws to Read,” the Wildlife Learning Center showed off live animals at the Library.
The Library will be hosting several animal-themed events over the course of the summer to encourage kids to keep up their reading skills. The Summer Reading Program, which is free and open to kids of all ages, is sponsored by the Friends of the Palmdale Library and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.

Thank you Jenny Marie for the great photos!
