LANCASTER – The Sanchez Soccer League and the Pioneer Event Center have combined forces to host the inaugural AV Soccer Expo this coming weekend.
The family-friendly event will feature live entertainment; boys and girls soccer clinics (ages 5 to 18); 5 vs. 5 soccer tournaments; 30 vendors, including food service, apparel, and gifts; and much more!
The Soccer Expo will also feature special guest appearances and meet-and-greet opportunities with some of soccer’s elite, including:
- Bryan De La Fuente, currently playing midfielder/forward for the Los Angeles Misioneros in the USL Premier Development League.
- Daniel Guzman, former professional soccer player and coach of the first division Mexican teams Tigres and Santos.
- Reynaldo Navia, former Chilean striker for the Chile national squad and Bronze medalist in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.
- Adrian Chavez, former professional and international goalkeeper.
- Juan Hernandez, retired defender and squad member at the 1993 Copa America. Inducted into the 2009 Players Hall of Fame.
The inaugural AV Soccer Expo takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, at the Pioneer Event Center (PEC), located at 45000 Valley Central Way in Lancaster. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 11 and under. View a flyer for this event here.
The PEC is the largest indoor soccer facility in the Antelope Valley.
