PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale’s South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES) food and shelter program will host the second annual “Brass Butt” Charity Ride to help raise funds to provide emergency assistance to families in need in the South Antelope Valley.
The event kicks off at 8:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 19. The ride will begin and end at SAVES, located at 1002 East Avenue Q-12, and proceed 169 miles through scenic parts of the Antelope Valley and Tehachapi.
Registration is $25 per rider and $20 per passenger in advance, now through Oct. 15. Click here to register.
Day of registration will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. at SAVES and will be $30 per rider and $25 per passenger.
Registration includes the scenic ride, a catered lunch by Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, live radio remote broadcast, and one free opportunity ticket for cash prizes. Prizes include one grand prize for $300, four $100 cash prizes, and four $50 cash prizes.
“Even if you don’t ride motorcycles, you’re invited to participate by riding along in your car,” said SAVES Coordinator Patricia Morales.
