ROSAMOND – The body of a 30-year-old Rosamond man was found near railroad tracks in Rosamond Tuesday morning, authorities said.
Union Pacific Rail officials reported finding the fully clothed body at about 8:30 a.m., according to a news release from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
“Deputies from the Rosamond Substation responded and found injuries on the victim. Further investigation revealed the victim was likely struck by a passing train during the night,” the news release states.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.

This man has a name, and a history. Rest in peace to this man that has a name.

I was responding to John. This man has a name and a history. It is not just another day in the A.V. The identity of this man is none of our business William, but his name and his life means something. Rest in peace to this man that has a name.

As usual. Your comment was silly. John knows, I know and everybody knows that everyone has a name and a history.
Leave it you to state the obvious as though you had some great insight.
Besides a name and a history which could apply to most pets, he was also a human being, one of our own kind, perhaps a member of this community whose life has ended in an unfortunate way. You provided us with the bare minimum but I guess that’s all you can do.

@lol
I started it. I’m such a trouble-maker. Ask the bird.
I keep waiting for a house to fall on her with just her feet sticking out. Ding, dong, the bird is ……..how does that song go?
Anyway, we are only engaged. We’re registered at a gun store.
As an aside, I saw an old Alfred Hitchcock teevee show from the late 50s the other night. A guy does a home invasion on a bickering couple.
They each try to get the invader to take them as a hostage and kill the other one and they are driving the invader nuts with their maneuvers. Unfortunately, he was about to shoot the guy who was trying to save his wife and she shoved the gunman to protect her husband and they made up at the end. What a let down.
lol, have you ever tried to have a discussion with someone subject to raging hormonal influences and severe bouts of total illogic? It’s like nailing jello to a wall.
