PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library will host a social video gaming event from 4 to 6 p.m. this Monday, Jan. 26, at the Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd.
The Library will set up a Nintendo WiiU, and youth are encouraged to come in and play for free in this informal gaming event.
A selection of titles will be available to choose from, including Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. for WiiU.
“Come and play for free at the Library,” said Library Director Thomas Vose. “Meet, compete, and make new friends!”
Free notary service February 7
On Saturday, Feb. 7, from 3:30 to 5 pm., the Library will offer free notary services by a local notary public.
Notary services will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
“Now’s your chance to get free notarization on your important documents,” said Library Director Thomas Vose.
The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
