LANCASTER – The University of Antelope Valley’s Student Council is making this Easter weekend special by hosting an “Egg-tastic Hunt” at the Sierra Highway campus in Lancaster.
The free family event, which includes a special appearance by the Easter Bunny, is set for Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 44055 N. Sierra Highway.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own baskets to gather sweet treats that will be planted all around the campus.
Children ages 5 and under will fill their baskets with goodies from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. And children ages 6 to 10 will fill their baskets from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
The event will also include lots of other fun children’s activities, according to organizers.
“This egg-stra special event is free to the public, and is UAV’s way of saying how ‘hoppy’ they are to give back and to be a part of this wonderful community,” stated Ashley Clutter, executive assistant to the president at University of Antelope Valley.

UAV you need to step up with the egg hunt. You can’t just thrown candy in the floor where a lot of people will step on it and call it a egg hunt. Shame on you for that.

Yeah, shame on them for doing something nice and free of charge for anyone and everyone who wanted to participate.
