Where is the story announcing that Lynn Gomez already resigned from AV Hospital? She stuck around 1month! She saw the disfunction at AVH and ran for the hills. The AV Times should look into this. Our community should know what is happening at our hospital!

The dysfunction is that they only hire friends of employees, for they feel secure in the position without any effort; causing a chain of malfunctions, and disregard for good service. The cleaning people does not speak English, and there too many Philippine’s nurses with they wide spread apathy and lack of care for people feelings, that speak in the foreign language as soon as they get together, oblivious to their surroundings.

Alameda and Belford University’s? These online only schools are unaccredited and one was shut down by the government due to offering diplomas that were not worth the paper they were on. I wish AV hospital did it’s research before it hired someone with a questionable education.

The world has shifted (stupidly in my opinion) into this “must have a degree’ mode of employment. In this case we have a job that really can be done by anyone with the right personality and a fair amount of self motivation…and it is a job that she had been doing successfully for twenty plus years. I think the problem is less with what degree mill she got degrees from in order to keep up with the artificial requirements of her job than it is with the ridiculousness of the requirements.
My degree is from a recognized and accredited university, but it is just an indication that I spent time and money getting it, it has never defined me.
