Palmdale’s Public Works staff will be performing pavement maintenance and parking lot striping, according to city officials.
All commuter vans and vehicles will need to be moved from the location by Friday, May 15.
All unattended vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense, per Palmdale Municipal Code 10.40.010, Sec. 15.64.270, CVC 22658a.
Commuters are advised to use the park and ride lot on Avenue S on the east side of the freeway near Calle Grillo, or at Pelona Vista Park, 37700 Tierra Subida Avenue.
The lot is expected to reopen by 7 p.m. Saturday, May 16.
“We appreciate the public’s support in this as we temporarily close the lot to perform needed maintenance,” stated Palmdale’s Street Maintenance Supervisor Bruce Roadhouse.
