PALMDALE – Volunteers are needed to assist with a free skateboard clinic for autistic youth coming to Palmdale this Sunday.
Presented by the A.skate Foundation for autistic youth, the clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, June 7, at Marie Kerr Skate Park, located at 39700 30th Street West in Palmdale.

The A.skate Foundation is an organization that allows children with autism to be a part of the social world through skateboarding. They hold clinics for children with autism at no cost to the families, give grants to children with autism for skateboard gear, and promote awareness and educate families about the skateboard industry.
Sunday’s free local skateboard clinic for autistic youth is co-sponsored by D.G.S. Flooring, Squirty’s Collision Center, and Taylor Michelle’s Salon and Spa.
