Bret Michaels confirmed as headliner to replace Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo Aug. 22 at A.V. FAIR

LANCASTER – Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo announced that they have canceled their next 12 performances, including their Aug. 22 concert at the A.V. Fair, as Giraldo recovers from emergency eye surgery. [Read more at www.benatargiraldo.com.]

Taking their place as headliner for the Aug. 22 concert will be rock star Bret Michaels and special guest, Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Miller Lite Grandstand Arena.

For those planning to attend the Bret Michaels/Dennis DeYoung Palmdale Auto Mall concert, the Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo tickets are valid and include admission to the Fair.

Ticket refund process

Full refunds (including 10% service fee) are available until 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, via the following procedures:

For tickets purchased online at avfair.com:

• Contact E-Tix directly at (800) 514-3849 or online at www.etix.com.
• Have your tickets present for information needed.
• On etix.com, click “Customer Service” (upper right side of page).
• Under “Existing Orders,” click the third line down that says, “How do I request a refund for my order?”
• Click “Fill out a support form to request a refund,” as instructed, and click “Submit.”
• Once the transaction is verified and approved, the refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the tickets within 3-5 business days.

For patrons who purchased tickets with cash:

• Bring the actual ticket (copies of tickets will not be accepted) to the A.V. Fair Administration Office (see address and office hours below).
• Fill out a Refund Request form, and once the transaction is verified and approved, a refund check will be mailed to you within 3-5 business days.
• Once the refund procedures are in place, the bar-coded ticket will be canceled along with the admission to the Fair.

*The A.V. Fair Administration Office is located at 2551 W. Ave. H., Suite 102, in Lancaster. Come in Gate 2 off W. Ave. H. The Fair Administration office is on the north end of the Turf Club building.
