LANCASTER – A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 69-year-old Lancaster woman who authorities said suffers from medical conditions and can become disoriented.
Mildred Harris was last seen around 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, driving away from her home in a white Hyundai Santa Fe with California license plate 6EXK697.
Harris is described as black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds.
“She suffers from dementia and is believed to be in possession of a portable oxygen tank that last two to three hours. Her family is very concerned and is asking for the public’s assistance,” sheriff’s officials said in a news release.
Anyone who sees Harris is asked to call the sheriff’s Lancaster Sheriff’s Station at 661-948-8466.
The Silver Alert is in effect in Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Kings, Inyo, Tulare, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.

Mildred Harris is my cousin! I live in California City, CA 93505! When I can’t reach her by phone she is usually in Hospital. I didn’t know she had been missing! She was very independent! Didn’t realize she had deteriated dementia! I last talked with her in October 2015! She has lots of friends & family near by!
