LANCASTER – A man robbed a U.S. Bank branch in Lancaster Friday, but no one was injured, authorities said.
The robbery took place about 9:10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in the 2800 block of West Avenue L, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Deputy Guillermina Saldana said.
The suspect ran out of the bank’s east exit with an undisclosed amount of cash, Saldana said. Deputies conducted a perimeter search, but did not find the suspect, she said.
A detailed description of the bandit was not immediately available.
The incident is being investigated by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Bureau detectives in conjunction with agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
