LLANO – Los Angeles County firefighters and an Antelope Valley Search and Rescue team searched a vehicle found possibly 1,500 feet down the side of the Angeles Crest Highway and determined it was stolen and dumped with no people in it, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department was contacted about 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, and arrived about 8:30 p.m. on the scene at mile marker 71 of the highway, Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pittman said.
Due to the distance down the roadside and terrain, rescuers began by sending search dogs to check forĀ injured or deceased people in the vehicle, Dispatch Supervisor Rey Dong said.
When firefighters followed, they noted it was empty except for spider webs indicating the vehicle had been there awhile, the California Highway Patrol said.
The vehicle was confirmed stolen, Pittman said.

Big Foot stole the vehicle and forgot that he didn’t know how to drive. Case closed.

That’s funny, Johnny. I’m glad non of the responders were injured in their descending or ascending on that mountain.

That was one of two. My other pun was:
