By Dawn Martin, concerned family member of missing girl
I’ve been sending you this information about my little cousin, Tianna. She is a 16-year-old girl missing since Oct. 5 from the Lancaster/ Quartz Hill area.
So far I have reached 25,000 people already, and the news is spreading quickly, which is great! We are going to have a candlelight vigil for her this Saturday (Oct. 10) at 8 p.m.
I have the information on the page we have set up for her via Facebook. [View it here]
We are also having a search party for her today [Oct. 8] starting at 4:30 p.m.
We are very worried for her. She has a history of depression, and she has been labeled missing with the Sheriff’s Department. No detective has been assigned or has even come to visit Tianna’s mom.
Tianna has made comments about suicide in the past. We had an anonymous tip, and they were told by Tianna that she wanted to kill herself. We found this out yesterday [Oct. 7]. This is something we can’t ignore. We hope she is OK.
She is in an area where human trafficking is a huge problem. It’s not just a problem in the big cities, its right here in Lancaster! We hope this is not the case.
Please, please consider helping us find Tianna.

Detectives have learned from her parents that Tianna went for a walk and never returned home.
She was wearing a gray hoodie, dark gray sweat pants and a black t-shirt at the time of her disappearance. She has long brown hair, is approximately 5’4” tall, 105 lbs, and has a tongue piercing.
Tianna has recently suffered from depression and has no history of running away from home.
Her family is very concerned and is asking for the public’s assistance.

God found her!
Mary says
Yay, they found her!!
I am so glad that she is alive and we’ll – her mom was suffering inside :_
Jay says
Where in the hell was she??
TS says
The “mean step-dad” route implying he was hurting Tianna either emotionally/physically whatever isn’t something anyone not personally involved should be speaking of. For one, he’d never lay a hand on her so reading things like that is disgusting. As for the kids talking crap, try focusing less on your own feelings and try to understand where his mindset is right now.
I hope Tianna is found safe and soon.
Mary says
I agree and I did not mean to sound offensive at all – I do not know this family and have never met them – I just hope they find her – and this is all that matters. I can’t imagine their pain. Nothing matters…only that they find this teenager.
Mary says
p.s – praying for the family and this young girl. I would pass out if it were my daughter.
Mary says
I will put posters in Palmdale – I won’t be able to do a lot but I will post what I can right away! I will post on trees and posts.
Mary says
I posted yesterday but then thought of a young girl I saw on Palmdale Blvd between 17th Street East and 10th street East, walking from 17th Street East TOWARDS 10th East. I can’t remember the exact area; however, I remember thinking this exact thought, “My god, why would a girl walk these streets alone. She is going to get raped!”
She looked completely out of place. She was petite, a very cute body. She had black hair to her back, maybe closer to her bottom. Her hair was straight and it also appeared that she may have ironed it as it was very straight. She wore tight fitting clothes and she carried nothing. She did not at all look as though she was in distress. Because I was driving, I could not see her face well; however, she looked like she may have been or has some Hispanic in her.
Maybe they can check a couple of cameras to see if it was her. Maybe it wasn’t but you just never know. I can tell you this, I thought she looked very out of place and I worried for her safety. I saw her after 9:00 AM and before 2:00 PM.
Two people on this story posted that the “Step-dad” was mean. This is not something to take lightly. I grew up with a very mean “Step-dad” and it put us through a lot growing up. She just may have walked away and left because she couldn’t take what was going on in the home any more. If two of her friends got on here to write this, she must be sharing this with friends and may have wanted to escape his meanness. I know it hurts to hear stuff like this but these things are nothing to be taken lightly at all. I hope this is the case because I do not want to hear that she was kidnapped. If her young friends are brave enough to get on this site and write what they did about the “Step-dad”, there could be a friend, and or boyfriend hiding her out to protect her. When I was a teenager, my boyfriend’s mom let me stay at her house and she never told my mom I was staying with them.
I hope to God that whatever is going on, that she will come back – that she will at least make a phone call to a family member to say she is safe.
As a community, let’s pray for this family, and for this young girl. No MOTHER or FATHER deserves to lose their child – that has got to be the most traumatic thing in the world. So let’s all pray that she left because of the mean “Step-father” I hate to say it, BUT I HOPE THIS IS THE CASE.
If anyone of her friends who are reading this have any information about this girl – maybe she told you she is having problems at home, abuse at home or that she is going to run away, maybe she met a new boyfriend, please come forward with any information that can help investigators find her. Even this smallest pieces of information can bring her home safely. You can report any information to We-Tip anonymously – they will never tell anyone who the reporter is. ANY INFORMATION IS IMPORTANT AT THIS VERY CRUCIAL TIME.

I’m sorry if my uncle and you had a misunderstanding. Please try to understand that my family is under a lot of stress and lacking a lot of sleep and emotions are high. We all just desperately want Tianna home. Please take into consideration that we’re scared for her life before posting that you had a bad moment on a page dedicated to finding her.
Thank you to everyone for all your sharing, prayers and understanding during this difficult time.
Juana Nunez says
I pray the blood of Jesus over Tianna! I pray for her safety, and safe return! Inpray that whomever is with her protects her, and sends her home. Wherever Tianna is Jesus take control of her mind, and let her be found? Amen!
stacy says
Human trafficking is bad here…there needs to be a story on it up here in the AV as many girls are missing and the police and media are not addressing it…they need the FBI to get involved…but they dont…closing their eyes…when they know what’s happening…we let anyone in our country and anyone out…its no longer safe and the police and sheriffs know it
LMFAO says
Human trafficking!…. I love it…. Thanks for a good laugh… Fyi, there is no human trafficking in Lancaster. It’s called prostitution and them nasty tramps are doing it at their free will for the money to get their next bag of dope. No one’s forcing them to do it. And if they claim to have a pimp, it’s their old man or sex partner that pretends to be the pimp so he can split the bag too. Typically some one involved in human trafficking isn’t gonna be some toothless nasty tweeker chick high on meth and has leather faced skin. Those are just your local hoodrats trying to score a 20 sack.
fox says
LMFAO – you are a judgmental moronic idiot!
May says
Hello? Where is the sherrif department??? Why haven’t they even come out to take a report. It is disgraceful!!!
Mary says
Sherif Department is incredible – I am sure they are working on the case. Just because you do not see them in action, doesn’t mean they do not have detectives on this case. Their resources are so limited because they have to deal with so many petty issues that it is impossible to do everything. But you can trust they are working on this case – most of the police officers have kids and trust me, they don’t wish this upon any mother. They have hearts and they don’t wish for any child to go missing. You can help out yourself by posting flyers all over Palmdale Blvd in the area where I saw a young girl that looked like her – you can help the police out by doing an incredible humanitarian act yourself for this family.
Mary says
Your pain must be intense. I can’t ever imagine my daughter missing. I may as well take my own life because I would suffer inside, always wondering if she is dead, or being hurt. My heart hurts for your entire family and friends. Let’s all pray today also as others are doing the search that this young girl will be found. It is a very dangerous world for any girl to be out there alone without knowing where she is – and the family has got to in tremendous pain. Father, do a miracle for this family. You have answered so many prayers – you answered my prayers for my tumor and it was not cancerous. You answered my prayer when I asked you to allow my son to keep his finger from his injury – he kept his finger. God, bring this young girl home to her family. Her family is suffering inside. Do a miracle today. Thank you God for everything you do for us. We fail you, but YOU NEVER FAIL US.
Deputy C says
Amen Mary.
God will help us find her.
