PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library will host a free conflict management class at 6 p.m. this Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Boulevard.
“We encounter conflict every day,” said Denise Yusuff, a professional mediator in Palmdale who will lead the class. “Conflict can present itself at work or in our personal lives. Come learn techniques which will help you handle disagreements with family, coworkers and neighbors.”
Participants will be taught techniques to help reduce conflict and handle it in a positive manner which will help improve their quality of life.
Yusuff attended Cornell University and received her Bachelor of Science in Rural Sociology in May 2003. She later attended Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, MN where she received her J.D. in May 2006, with a concentration in alternative dispute resolution.
