PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale will host a LifeStream blood drive this Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall, located at 38250 Sierra Highway.
All donors will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes drawing for a family 4-pack of single-day admission tickets to Knott’s Scary Farm and points that may be redeemed for items through LifeStream’s online donor store at www.LStream.org.
To sign up for the blood drive, call 1-800-879-4484 or visit www.LStream.org.
Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are strongly encouraged. A free cholesterol screening is also available.
Founded in 1951, LifeStream is a not-for-profit organization that collects blood in local Southern California communities and stays strictly in local Southern California hospitals.
There is a great chance that your blood donations will circle back into the Palmdale-Lancaster area to help someone within our own community, be it a co-worker, family member or neighbor,” said Blood Drive Coordinator Kathy Inman.
LifeStream has a history of partnering with many of Palmdale’s schools, businesses, organizations and religious institutions.
