About flu vaccination clinics at county public libraries
About 10 to 20 percent of Americans become ill with the flu each year. In Los Angeles County, during the 2014-15 flu season, approximately 43 deaths were attributed to the flu – a marked decrease from the 101 deaths caused by the flu in the 2013-14 flu season. Pregnant women, children, adults 50 years of age and older, and immunocompromised individuals are especially susceptible. The best way to prevent the flu is to get vaccinated, according to county health officials.
Evidence has shown that structural level interventions – like expanding access at trusted community-based sites such as libraries – increase flu vaccination uptake among these populations.
Last year, 12 County Public Libraries participated and more than1,300 people received vaccinations – garnering the County of Los Angeles official “Achievement Award” recognition from the National Association of Counties.
This year, the program has been expanded to include 15 participating County Public Libraries.

Tim Scott says
The flu vaccine works by giving you a mild case of the flu so your body can develop the tools to fight off the disease. Rather than get a mild case of the flu each and every year I choose to take my chances that getting a really bad case every decade or two is a better result…but that’s just me.

I have great attendance at work and have never called in sick in probably 15 years. I eat healthy and eat a lot of garlic and I juice at least 3-4 times a week. I don’t understand why anyone would put this in their body. EVERY single person I know who has had this shot has fallen almost deathly ill, including my mom. This may be a little exaggerated but close enough. My mom has been laid flat on her back for a week (I know your reading this mom so don’t say I am lying) from this shot. Don’t get it. It is just poison to your body. Eat Garlic and LOTS of vegetables and that will be enough to keep you from getting ill.

WOW WHAT BS!!!!! The best way to prevent the flu is to NOT get the shot. Eat garlic and get plenty of sun light even in the cooler temperatures. Stay hydrated and eat healthy. There is no scientific study that has EVER proven the SAFETY or EFFICACY of ANY vaccine including the flu shot or nasal mist. Which still contains MERCURY a heavily documented neurotoxin.
Research before to get any shot.
From the Fluval vaccine package insert:
“Read the language in the following photo of the FLULAVAL vaccine insert very carefully.
It says:
FLULAVAL is a vaccine indicated for active immunization against influenza disease… but doesn’t ever claim the vaccine actually works.
In the very next bullet point, the vaccine insert admits:
…there have been no controlled trials adequately demonstrating a decrease in influenza disease after vaccination with FLULAVAL.”
