LANCASTER – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding three men who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman in Lancaster.
The crime occurred about 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at a local business near the 44000 block of 10th Street West, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
“The investigation has revealed that the victim was forced at gunpoint to the back of the business by three male adult suspects, where she was sexually and physically assaulted,” the news release states.
The woman, whose name was withheld, was then forced into the suspects’ vehicle at gunpoint and driven to an unknown location on Sierra Highway, sheriff’s officials said.
The victim was later found walking on Sierra Highway by a motorist, who notified authorities, according to the sheriff’s department.
Anyone with information on this crime is encouraged to call the sheriff’s Special Victims Bureau at 877-710-LASD or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.

When I’m driving around Valencia, or using their their public parks, or shopping at their mall, the last thing on my mind is “do I need a firearm in this mundane situation”.
When I’m doing the same in the antelope valley, I’m constantly looking over my shoulder, aware of my surroundings, and noting where the exits are as I think to myself:”I should have my [removed] pistol on me right now”.
ALL ANTELOPE VALLEY BUSINESS OWNERS SHOULD CARRY FIREARMS ON THEIR PERSON AND BE PROFICENT WITH THEM WHILE ON BUSINESS PREMISIS.
Once a human being makes the descion in their own mind that their wants out weigh your common wellbeing, its at this stage that a human being ceases to be a human being.
Remember, they use to hang people for stealing horses upon capture 100 years ago.
Now, if you rape 2 underage girls in one day they give you 3 hot meals, a bed, and free health care for life.

Shane Falco,
Kudos. On point. Tim Scott has failed to prove his point against “More prisons = more problems.” I have brothers who live in Tehachapi and can tell you personal experiences about thugs casing out their ranch homes in the hopes that no one is present so that they can pillage good people’s hard-earned possessions.
Get a grip, Valley Girl.

What business? How did this happen in a business? Who owns it? Security cameras? Something about this story doesn’t add up….where were the employees of the business when this happens….sounds like she went in a pawnshop and made a deal but got more than she bargained for…I can’t think of any other way three men rape and point a gun at her in a business and no one else notices or there’s no other customers and then they walk her out an just drive her away idk…something about this story is fishy….drugs involved?
Tim Scott says
Sounds to me like she WAS the employee of the business, if not the owner/proprietor. Which would explain why they don’t say what business it was since that would effectively identify the victim, who has privacy rights to consider.
Samira says
So are you saying she deserved it because something is “fishy” to you? She was raped at gunpoint. That’s all that matters.
me says
It was a small insurance company. No pawn shop involved! Like that would make rape OK regardless! Idiot! Few employees on a busy day. Good chance the only employee, it being a few days before a holiday.

The first step to taking over any civilization is to disarm it’s citizens… look at what happened to the American Indian. Hitler disarmed the Jews. If those men thought that there might be even the smallest chance that the victim was armed you bet they would have never bothered her. Also when a coward is fired on they run they don’t stand around and exchange gun fire. Exchange gun fire. Your just to funny… and the media has convinced you that guns are evil.I know one thing for sure NO ONE. Will take away my right to defend myself and my family. Hey, did you know that eating to much bacon will kill you?
Tim Scott says
The inability to tell the difference between “I need a gun to feel safe going to the store” and “the populace is being disarmed” is a sure sign that you should not be armed.
What makes you think these guys “didn’t think there was the slightest chance she was armed?” How would they have known? The pretense that “no one has guns” is ridiculous. They approached her in a way that made sure that IF she had a gun it would make no difference.
You are apparently another in the long line of “having a gun makes me safe” believers in magic. Please reach out and grasp reality.

And there spouts the all knowing genius of Tim Scott again! Wow how amazing is his knowledge of everything in our society. Let’s all bow down to his wonder.

I will take the worst advice from Tim Scott than anything R.Rex Parris or his cohorts spew. The problem in this wallet is not Tim Scott. The problem is R. Rex Parris. The people here appear to be too stupid to realize this.

To Tim Scott. Thank you for your rational, thoughful response. I didn’t know children were allowed to post on this site. I would presume words like “Let’s all bow down to his wonder” would be coming from a child ?
Philip says
Allow me to debunk your theory, Tim Scott. You said:
What makes you think these guys “didn’t think there was the slightest chance she was armed?” How would they have known? The pretense that “no one has guns” is ridiculous. They approached her in a way that made sure that IF she had a gun it would make no difference.
Your first mistake: You think “these guys” think.
Your second mistake: You don’t have all the facts; you have all the speculation.
Your third mistake: You attempted to correct a pretense with a pretense.
Your fourth mistake: You failed to repeat every line. You failed to repeat every line. As if that would make your argument stronger. As if that would make your argument stronger.
Your fifth mistake: You didn’t enroll in Phil 201: Logic and Critical thinking.”
Flint says
Don’t point out Tim’s weak logic. He mostly insults, cherry picks, uses red herring, and the occasional scarecrow. Oh and circular. He loves circular logic. Allow me to respond as Tim might, just for giggles.
I am honored that all you think about is me. You say “you have all the speculation,” but that’s all you do is speculate, and poorly too. If she had had a gun she would be dead, so not having a gun saved her life, if this even happened. At this point she is making a claim, but for all we know she is mentally ill. Are you saying that we should give mentally ill people guns? Didn’t think so moron.
Was that good or what?
Tim Scott says
It’s a funny thing. I, who am the reputed enemy of all things law enforcement, had a conversation with the captain of our local sheriff’s station. One very interesting thing that he commented on was how frequently people make the mistake of assuming that criminals are stupid.
There is no doubt that some people who want concealed carry permits can’t get them. Those people tend to believe in some sort of self centered magic. Like “since I can’t get one nobody has one and the criminals know it” or “if only I had a gun criminals would know their victims might be armed.” Truth is that most criminals ALWAYS consider the possibility that someone might be armed…after all, THEY are and they probably didn’t get a permit.
These guys (apparently from the article) took an approach so that it wouldn’t matter whether the victim was armed or not. That is generally the case.
Billandtimsbogusanswers says
Tim, if all criminals assume everyone is armed, then how come we never hear about a gun store getting robbed.if we lived in a state like arizonia or texas, where armed robbery is much lower, we wouldnt be talking about it.but everyone knows ca refuses to issue ccws, even tho the courts ordered them to.i looked up crime statistics for all 50 states.the states who have the most lax guns laws and people carry, crimes rates are lower.the states with the strictest gun laws have the most crime.think the thugs dont know who to rob.
Bob says
Wow Tim, I wish we were all as smart and liberal like you.
Tim Scott says
Wow Bob, I wish you had something to say about the subject at hand. But I suppose you wouldn’t want anyone to mistake you for being smart or liberal.

Sandra,
Double Kudos. I like your argument. The Founding Fathers didn’t defeat and rebel against the British with candles and hymns. They fought. They won. We are the product of that great fight. God bless you.

And yet it has the attention of a well spoken genius like yourself…
Danelda says
Lets see here, it was already 3 against 1 and at least 1 of the 3 had a gun and all of the 3 are still loose and maybe assaulting someone else or worse right now. Or perhaps planning to do so
Well if myself or one of my children or anyone really (ok ill admit to a few exceptions) should happen to be the next to be approached by them I think I would feel a lot better if I was doing more than taking a gumball to a gun fight. I am pretty sure their gun was not obtained legally and it would really be kinda messed up to be sexually and physically assaulted as well being one of those infringements of my right to bear a arms that the constitution says shall not happen and I dont think innocent people should be raped or robbed or beaten or murdered because they obeyed something that goes so far against the constitution as to be an act of treason but if they dont they could be imprisoned for extended periods of time. Hmm break the law or be beaten and raped and maybe killed or stand by and watch it happen to one of my children… well all I can say is I do believe in the wisdom of those who penned the constitution. Besides wouldnt want to be encouraging those who have come up with laws trying to say I do not have the right to protect my life nor the lives of my family into thinking they are gonna take my constitutional rights away with laws that are acts of treason so well you can probably figure out the rest. See I also believe in my right to remain silent so as not to incriminate myself while exorcising my right to free speech. Happy Thanksgiving People. Not to the mean people because mean people just plain suck
Philip says
Danelda,
Triple Kudos. I couldn’t have said it better. Happy Thanksgiving weekend and Merry Christmas. i think I’m still allowed to say that, if they haven’t yet taken away my right to Free Speech. I’ve recently been denied a weapon to defend my life and property by the DOJ because I was falsely accused of a crime. I doubt T.S. (hint: editor of this online rag) will allow my comments. Cowards come in print too….
Danelda says
Thanks and Hope u had a great Thanksgiving weekend and hope you have A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well. Well they haven’t managed to take away our complete right to free speech but they are working hard at it. Give it time. Everyone knows government always takes their time. Plus they have to battle brats like me who are not giving up our rights without a fought. Lol.

I understand your position, Tim. We don’t need an armed civilian militia. However, a few approved citizens with CCW’s might go a long way. We live in very uncertain times, and the good people of the world are uniting.
Tim Scott says
The good people of the world don’t need to run around shooting people. In theory cops are trained to enforce the law without shooting people, but we give them guns “just in case”. Notice how that is working out. Add a bunch of armed “well I am a good person” untrained vigilantes to the mix it will only make things worse.
elyse v. says
So what’s your solution? You seem to be the person that has an answer for eveything, or an opinion on everything?
What should the good people of the AV do to better protect themselves?
Should we keep sacrificing our peace, livelihoods and dignity in order to please these monsters?
And why do you seem to anxious to protect criminals?
Plz Leave the AV says
@timscott……then what is your solution? What is it that you think will work? How can the average citizen of the AV help curtail crime? I’m not trying to be rude or sarcastic , just curious ok.
Tim Scott says
I have a question first…are you really sure there is a problem?
Okay, there was a crime here…with tragic consequences. Yes, it would be a wonderful world of lollipops and rainbows if we could be in some crime free utopia, but there is no such thing.
Our crime rate is average. Actually in the low end of the average range. Our average citizens have about as much chance of encountering violent crime as anyone else, more than some, but less than a lot of others.
There are a LOT of people who are heavily invested in overdramatizing the “crime problem.” That does not mean that we need to put a lot of effort into solving this “crime problem.” I just ran across an interesting statistic…more people are killed in the US every year in accidents with cows than are murdered in Palmdale. Do we need to put a major effort into promoting cow safety?
More seriously, my answer, really, is just pay attention. I see people every day walking along busy streets, and through crowds, tuned totally into their own little worlds. Not long ago I saw a woman drop her car keys on her way out of a store. In the first place, her keys hitting the ground sounded like a meat grinder chewing a bone, but she didn’t hear them because she was on her phone. I was a good thirty feet behind her when I picked up her keys. She was effectively “stalked” through the parking lot all the way to her car by a large unknown man…and never saw me coming. See the world around you. Know what is going on.
That’s the problem with this whole “CCW would solve the problems” idea. People with a gun are STILL PEOPLE. I know people who carry. Mostly, they are just as likely to be totally oblivious as anyone else.
Philip says
Tim Scott,
I just ran across an interesting idea – not a statistic, but nonetheless interesting….
When you read about accidental “Cow deaths,” were you referring to the bovine creatures we get our milk from, or Cows in general, like you know, Elk, Deer, Moose, your mom, my mom?
Did you want to scale down these stats for general consumption or should every one get out their compasses and calculators to effectively compare Palmdale to the entire United States? I don’t have the necessary tools to do so, but I will state that the only tool I wouldn’t need is a Tongue Splicer. Yes, that’s a euphemism for T.S…..
Flint says
Here’s a solution that I believe Tim could support… Release inmates, lay off police, disarm the police, restrict guns and ammo among the populace, and if people complain about crime then point out that there are other places more dangerous so why don’t you move there genius because statistically you’re unlikely to be raped at gunpoint so stop making it seem like a problem. You want a real problem, too many police.
Tim Scott says
Wrong guess, but I’m glad to know that there is yet another poster with nothing but me on their mind.
Lo says
Roving packs of rapists in the streets of antelope valley, not surprising considering the low class, poorly raised, welfare army that has migrated here. Time to retreat farther inland, less crimes in lower population areas. Tax dollars here are going to waste, take yours elsewhere.
HEMi says
I think we all work together to give awareness to everyone we can. Not everyone will get this information if we don’t spread the word….Big thanks to ANTELOPE VALLEY TIMES for the heads up.!
jip joe says
What kind of article is that? Rubbish writing. What business? Why were there in there? Where were employees? Description of the scumbags?
Just Saying says
The story was pretty much lifted from a notification from the Sheriffs Information Bureau. This is all the detail that was there, cleaned up a bit for easier reading.
NONEYA says
Maybe the Eye in the Sky can be used to follow the vehicle.
By using the time frame and the house coordinates to see where the criminals went.
I would like to see this waste of tax dollars actually solve one crime.
Or does it only work for criminals that are stationary; barricaded; inside a home; with dozens of law enforcement around.
The trend of Constitutional carry needs to hit California ASAP.
MR. PERPLEXED says

Maybe if we (the good law abiding citizens) were able to obtain CCW’s in LA county we would be able to prevent crimes like this. But no let our people and town be raped, pilaged and plundered. Maybe one day they will get it………
Rach says
I second that!
Tim Scott says
Sure. All we need is a bunch of armed vigilantes roaming around playing “crimestopper” and we will be safe as safe can be. Does anyone else think this would be a really bad idea?
stevecinn says
Look up doj stats in Counties allowed to carry and ones that don’t.Crime stats say that when a criminal knows anyone could be carrying the crime stats go down. You think ISIS didn’t know that In Paris it’s impossible to obtain a Ccw.Tim Scott You are a California idiot and belong here.Just remember that if your involved in mass shooting you will be one of the sheep covering your head and praying to God a good guy comes to save your Yellow,Lilly butt.Cry and pray and I’ll defend myself.I carry a gun because I can’t carry a Pig.
R.N. says
No one said anything about being a vigilante. Just personal protection — protection for yourself and your family while you’re out. Not looking for trouble, but having the choice and the means to prevent something from happening. In this particular scenario, her having a gun or pulling one could have made this go an entirely different way. What matters here is having the choice.
Tim Scott says
LOL…right. Someone has a gun POINTED AT HER and she “pulls a gun” there is no question the outcome would be different. She’d be shot. Gunshot draws attention, now her attackers are in a panic, with guns in their hands, and people looking their way. They have NOTHING TO LOSE and might just open fire randomly.
You are providing a perfect example of the gun lobby’s twisted misrepresentation that guns solve problems by some sort of magic, just from having one. Thanks. I couldn’t have made the demonstration anywhere near as plain by myself.
Ricky says
You are sad misguided sheep. A trained CCW holder is not a vigilante and looks to avoid trouble. In Kern county many of the citizens carry and we don’t have any issues.
Tim Scott says
Feel free to explain, Ricky, how more CCWs “would prevent crimes like this one.” That was the idiotic assertion made by Bryan, which you have now doubled down on.
By the way, the crime rate in Bakersfield is higher than Palmdale, or Lancaster. But don’t let that little fact discourage your explanation.
By the way, I’m no sheep, so keep your pants on.
Tim Scott says
Crime rate in Bakersfield is higher than Palmdale or Lancaster…by a significant margin.
Shane Falco says
What time doesn’t understand about Bakersfield is that the prisons of Tehachapi, wasco and Delano all end up having the families of inmates move to Bakersfield and most of their parolees get dumped there. With more ghetto rat cockroaches come more crime.
You worry about armed vigilantes but the armed vigilantes are the criminals. The law abiding CCW holders have actually been screened and trained before they get a gun…unlike the cockroaches whose team it comes from watching rap videos and movies.

Tim Scott says
Shane…try to keep up.
We have one guy making the idiotic statement that “more CCWs would prevent crimes like this.” Then we have another guy come along and double down with the idea that Kern county displays just how great CCW is because “they have no problems.” I have shown that there are fatal flaws with both these ideas, which are more connected to gun lobby doctrine than reality. Now you want to stick your oar in with this “it’s just because there are prisons” nonsense… which even if it were a fact (which it isn’t) would not make the “CCW solves the problem” position any stronger.
If you come up with an argument that at least connects one dot to another, come on back.
R.N. says
Tim, you completely missed the point. I already said it wouldn’t have helped her in this scenario. The point is having the choice to be able to protect yourself. I’m not an idiot, I know that a gun doesn’t solve every problem, by “magic” or otherwise. I also know that in many cases it can definitely help. The choice to fight back is a basic human right — having the freedom to choose not be a victim or to take back some form of control in a situation where you have none and your life is threatened is extremely important. It all comes down to choice and those denied a ccw or legal means to protect themselves are being denied their choice.
Tim Scott says
R N…you certainly have the right to protect yourself, and it is always a choice. The thing is that whether or not you have a gun has nothing to do with that.
That is exactly the “magic” I am referring to. The gun lobby creates this pretense that somehow protecting yourself is exactly equal to having a gun, and that somehow just having a gun makes some huge difference in your world.
The reality is that having a gun greatly increases the chances that you will die or be seriously harmed. Every statistical analysis ever conducted on the subject bears that out.
William says
@Bryan
Haven’t you heard about the 2 well-armed cops assassinated in a restaurant in Las Vegas by 2 nuts fresh from the Cliven Bundy ranch standoff?
Or, the 2 cops also assassinated while sitting in their patrol in New York City?
If well-armed and well-trained cops are shot down, what chance do ya think you have?
I know. You have these fantasies about how you will save the day from watching action flicks or video games.
Philip says
William,
Well-armed does not equal well-trained. Their are plenty of weakling cops out there that couldn’t fire a weapon better than a civilian. Most of them are not required to go to the shooting range but once or twice a year.
Tim Scott,
Do you even live in the Antelope Valley? You seem to be a granola-eating, organic carrot-chomping Valley Girl. Take my name off your “nice guy” list. I wouldn’t want to be mentioned with your self-righteous indignant character. And no disrespect meant to Carrots or Granola…
