PALMDALE — Discount grocer Aldi is hosting a hiring event to staff its new Palmdale location.
The hiring event will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 1309 W. Rancho Vista Boulevard in Palmdale.
Positions available: Store Associate
- $13.00 per hour
- Earn up to $21.00 per hour with tenure
- Raises every six months, guaranteed
- Additional $1.00 per hour Sunday premium
- 33-40 hours per week

Requirements include:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Be a team player
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a flexible schedule and be reasonably available between 5 a.m. and 11p.m.
- Be able to lift 45 lbs.
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- No experience required
- Must pass drug test as well as background check
