UPDATED 1-29-16: Elisa Alcocer was found at about 2:40 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, by Palmdale resident Richard Thompson, who had volunteered his time to assist with the search. She was located under a bush about a mile away from her home. Alcocer was in “fair condition,” and she was reunited with her husband and transported to a local hospital for a medical evaluation, according to an updated LASD news release. Read it here.

LLANO – Authorities are seeking the public’s help to find an 84-year-old woman with dementia who was reported missing from her Llano residence Tuesday morning.
Elisa Garza Alcocer was last seen by her husband at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, the sheriff’s department reported.
“Mrs. Alcocer’s family is very concerned and is also asking for the public’s assistance,” sheriff’s officials said in a news release.
Alcocer is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 115 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
