PALMDALE – The city of Palmdale and the Lucy Pet Foundation are partnering to present a low cost spay, neuter and vaccination clinic this Sunday, Feb. 21.
It will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the City’s Development Services parking lot, located at 38250 Sierra Highway [at the corner of Q-11].
Spay and neuter pricing will be $60 for cats and $100 for dogs. Low income residents may qualify for a $50 voucher.
The price includes a physical exam by a licensed vet, surgery, pain meds, follow-up phone call, and, for dogs, a rabies vaccination and microchip.
To schedule an appointment for spaying or neutering, call 1-855-499-LUCY (5829) or email info@lucypetfoundation.org.
No appointment is needed for vaccinations.
Palmdale Crime Prevention Officer Kery German encourages all owners to have their pets spayed or neutered.
“Our shelters and rescues are overwhelmed with animals that need homes and unfortunately many will never find one,” she said.

I mailed them to book an appointment as soon as I found out about the clinic in Palmdale on their Website http://www.lucypetfoundation.org
This is the reply from them:
Hello,
—–
Unfortunately we are no longer accepting patients or booking any more appointments for spay or neuter. We are currently over booked for the Palmdale event on the 21st of February.
If you would still like to come and vaccinate your dog, you can come from the hours of 10am-2pm. It is on a first come first serve basis so early arrival is suggested.
Best,
Dalila

I know this is a “low-cost” service, but…for how many dogs?
Any.. I’ll wait another year….No rush

Instead of spay and neuter Rex prefers extinction of certain breeds. His typical approach.
