PALMDALE – The Palmdale Aerospace Academy’s Robotics Team 5012, Gryffingear, will host the first ever RoboSTEM Expo in the Antelope Valley on Saturday, Feb. 27.
The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Pioneer Event Center, located at 45000 Valley Central Way in Lancaster.
The RoboSTEM Expo is for STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) groups, clubs, and organizations looking to showcase what they do, according to organizers.
The Expo will also expose the STEM clubs to local businesses for potential sponsorship.
“The primary goal for the Expo is to spread the word about STEM education and robotics opportunities for youth in the Antelope Valley,” organizers stated in a news release.
The Expo is co-sponsored by the University of the Antelope Valley and The Palmdale Aerospace Academy’s Robotics Team 5015, Gryffingear.
STEM groups may register for the event at no cost. For vendors, there is a $50 registration fee.
