PALMDALE – The city of Palmdale’s neighborhood services department, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, will hold a free security and safety presentation for business owners and employees this Tuesday, Feb. 23.
The event will start at 8 a.m. in the Palmdale City Council Chamber, located 38300 Sierra Highway, Suite B, in Palmdale.
Topics will include:
- How to address incidents of vandalism, panhandling and loitering;
- Burglary and robbery prevention;
- How to identify counterfeit currency, credit cards and checks; and
- An overview of the Business Watch program, which is a free service offered to all businesses in the city of Palmdale.
“If you are unable to attend this event, presentations are available for businesses at a location and time that is convenient for you,” stated Crime Prevention Officer Kery German.
