Tip-A-CHiP fundraiser at Claim Jumper

PALMDALE – You can support a great cause by joining local California Highway Patrol officers at Claim Jumper.

The Tip-A-CHiP fundraiser to support Special Olympics Antelope Valley starts at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Claim Jumper at Antelope Valley Mall, located at 1247 West Rancho Vista Blvd. in Palmdale.

CHP officers and volunteers will be servers, hosts and food runners for the night, and all tips and donations provided to them will go directly to the Antelope Valley chapter of Special Olympics Southern California.

“The Special Olympic athletes of Antelope Valley are in great need of new sports uniforms; they reuse the uniforms each season and it has been years since any have been purchased,” stated CHP Officer Gil Hernandez. “The athletes need the help of our wonderful AV community. Please come out and support the CHP while they work hard to support the Special Olympic athletes of the Antelope Valley.”

The Special Olympics Tip-A-CHiP fundraiser at Claim Jumper ends at 9 p.m.
