For those people happy about the lack of vendors….
Vendors are working, they work for themselves and if successful enough they employ other members of the community. Do not be too happy that the vendors currently have one less show, that means less taxes for the city to use, less money to employee pockets, and less jobs if profits fall too low.
Enjoy the good tunes!

Thank goodness there won’t be any vendors. The city had to do away with Thursday Night on the Square, hopefully these will be events enjoyable for the family.

I want to thank Mayor Ledford and the council for getting this done, they said they were working on this and here we go. Now we can listen and dance the night away and I’m happy all the other booths and venders will not be there as it creates a mess of people. Music and Dance thats all I like to do there anyway. Happy Days in downtown are here again.

Poncitlán Square? We just call that “The Gazebo” … never knew it had a name.

FYI, Lancaster has a summer music series on the BLVD. Both cities do a great job of providing programs and events for area residents.

Just out of curiosity, where does this summer music actually take place? I didn’t know there was anywhere on the BLVD to set up something like that. Poncitlan Square has a bandstand and plenty of grass to spread blankets on for seating. I would think Lancaster would have a more appropriate venue, like one of the parks.

Rex made sure it was near Bex so he could sell booze and make money. How ironic that he tries to stop single sales of booze in store but he loves selling single beers at Bex, the AV Fair, Field of Drafts, Go Carts races, etc. Booze, booze, and more booze! Where is Javier when you need him?
what about Lancaster says
That’s good for the Palmdale residence now Lancaster needed to give something back oh I forgot mayor Rex only give to his friends
