LANCASTER – The second annual Johnson Smooth Jazz Festival kicks off this Saturday, June 25, at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, located at 2551 West Avenue H in Lancaster.
Gates open at 3 p.m. and the first act hits the stage at 5 p.m.
The event will feature musical performances by Mindi Abair, a jazz saxophonist, vocalist and two-time Grammy Award nominee; Vincent Ingala, Billboard Smooth Jazz Artist of the year; Javier Colon, winner of the inaugural NBC show “The Voice”; and other local artists. The festival will also feature gourmet foods, a whiskey and cigar lounge, wine selections and cocktail bars, and a vendor’s village.
Tickets are $75 for reserved seating and $45 for lawn seating.
The festival is presented by the Marco and Sandra Johnson Foundation, a charitable, nonprofit organization established to assist families in need throughout the Antelope Valley.
