PALMDALE – The city of Palmdale’s neighborhood services department is teaming up with the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station to host a Park Watch meeting this Wednesday, June 29.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. on the basketball courts at Domenic Massari Park, located at 37716 55th Street East in Palmdale.
Residents are encouraged to bring a chair and join in on this informational meeting, which is expected last approximately one hour.
Attendees will get to share their thoughts and concerns, and will have the opportunity to meet Palmdale’s crime prevention specialists, community deputies, crime prevention officers and fellow park patrons.
“We’re looking to partner with our residents to make our parks safer through the Park Watch program,” stated Crime Prevention Officer Kery German. “The battle against crime will not be won by one person or one agency alone. Together, we can get involved and keep Domenic Massari Park safe and beautiful.”

I attended this meeting last Wednesday. About 50 people attended. Lots of good information about we residents can do to help be the eyes and ears of the park. There were sheriff deputies and City of Palmdale reps present who listened to our comments and answered questions.
