PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale’s free “Music in the Park” series will conclude this Thursday, Sept. 15, with a performance by local folk rock artist Jimmy Long.
The concert will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Poncitlán Square, located at 9th Street East between Ave. Q-9 & Ave. Q-10.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. There will be no food or activities on site, but attendees may bring food and non-alcoholic beverages.
A resident of Lancaster, Jimmy Long performs a mix of pop, folk and alternative music; driven by acoustic guitar and clever lyrics. He is working on a debut album, tentatively titled – The Knife, The Noose, & Everything After.
