PALMDALE – The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Traffic Services Detail will be conducting a DUI/driver’s license checkpoint at an undisclosed location in Palmdale this Friday, April 20, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m., authorities announced.
Officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and drug impairment. They also will check for proper licensing and will strive to delay motorists only momentarily. When possible, specially trained officers will be available to evaluate those suspected of drug-impaired driving, which now accounts for a growing number of impaired driving crashes.
Drivers caught driving impaired can expect the impact of a DUI arrest to include jail time, fines, fees, DUI classes, and other expenses that can exceed $10,000.
Funding for this operation is provided to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

I was told that there are two so is the other one on 47th and S? That’s if my info is correct of course.

This is so true, over a billion dollars in cash and drugs moves through that route on a daily basis.
(47th and Ave S / Pearblossom hwy {138}) This is the reason why the 138 as a new fwy. finally starts construction June 15, 2018.

These comments just keep getting more & more ridiculous. Keep em coming…

It’s most likely going to be near 47th and Ave S because it’s the second biggest drug route in Southern California.
The drug route heads into Little Rock and goes into Las Vegas. It’s controlled by the Sineloa Drug Cartel and over a billion dollars in cash and drugs moves through that route on a daily basis. The drug gang killed a man at the McDonald’s on 47th and S because he was asking questions about drug dealers and a cash storage house on Cottonwood St.

Sineloa- LOL, moron

It will be on 47th St and Ave S because it’s the second biggest drug route in Southern California, run by the Sineloa Drug Cartel.
