“[The victim] stated he had been shot on Jackman Street. He was quickly taken into surgery and is currently listed in stable condition. The victim was also unable to provide any information regarding the suspect who shot him,” the news release states.

Lancaster has gotten so bad cause they want to throw all the low lifes out here they are all section 8 and welfare losers . They don’t work and all they do is go around causing problems and crimes. Take them back where they came from.

It’s a good thing Rex committed $10 million dollars to the useless Eye in the Sky and banned pit bulls and made it a crime to bury dead Muslim terrorists in Lancaster or we’d be in deep doo-doo.

so, I live in this area.. I’ve lived here for 5 years. I walk to the metrolink and back home from the metrolink M-F every single day for work in LA. The last 6 months or so as im walking home at around 10pm I get harassed by bunch of guys near this area. They always ask me “what set you in cuz”, “what are you looking at, do yo have a starring problem” (but im not looking at them at all), they ask me what i have in my backpack (gym close, water, my laptop for work), they ask if they can borrow my phone i start running and they start throwing rocks even a bottle of beer at me once.
I started taking a different route home from the metrolink adding 1/2 mile to avoid this area and now I have come across another set of guys that keep asking me who im with and when i say i dont have any gang affiliation they keep calling me snitch everytime I walk by (started 2 weeks ago) but its escalating now they are starting to walk behind me and of course i just start running yelling im not a gang banger.
i cant afford much since im barely scraping by but why has Lancaster all of a sudden become really bad?
Is it lack of Law enforcement? is it because many other people are moving up here for cheaper cost of living? ( i guess i cant judge because I did too)

Ummmm. go to the police dept and make a complaint …. If you truly are not into gangs or drug deals then you don’t deserve to be harassed !!!

I’m sorry to say we have no LAW ENFORCEMENT, I live in a condo complex and we all pay property taxes. But when we do call the Sheriffs it usually no response to anywhere from 9 Hours to 48 hours response. Our HOA is very high now because we pay for security because we can’t rely on Los Angeles County Sheriffs. So, with that I suggest, you have a friend pick you up, Uber or change your working shift. The problem you state, plus other harassment is the reason I no longer go out and eat at restaurants, shops etc. Eventually the City of Lancaster we see their revenue dry up and it will be too late. This city is walking dead.

Make a friend on the train, and ask if they will give you a ride home. Sorry that so many people suck
