I live in District 2, and I’m grateful for all we have here. Don’t let the negative attitudes affect you. It is a blessing to have so much.
East Palmdale says
Why doesn’t Palmdale just do what Lancaster does? Put their kids on the commission. Or people from their place of business. Why bother with all the paperwork?
Beth says
The Debbie Downer cult strikes again. Life just isn’t worth living, what with all the ELECTED politicians that are corrupt. I guess this means that the voters must like all this corruption, that is except the extremely intelligent D.D.’s that never get their way.
John Thomas says
Voters have no idea whats really going on. Bishop Loa and Hofbauer might as well be on the Lancaster City Council as they get the financial and GOP support from Lancaster. So it says in the financial reports filed at City Hall. Beth must be working for them as well.
Beth says
The smart voters saw through all the distortions that a few perpetrate, to try to keep a war going on between Lancaster and Palmdale. It is selfish and non-productive at best, to keep an attitude of divisiveness between two cities that should come together. I’m happy to see a positive change, and it is always best for each voter to gather un-biased facts from reliable sources, not an opinions section.
John Thomas says
Beth the financial reports are available at City hall and are very reliable. So please check out who is paying to get these people elected, unions and Lancaster power brokers have invested heavily.
Tim Scott says
Not to mention that when you run a “consulting business” it is really easy to have money funneled to you by “clients” and then just show that your income from your business is some nice amount without any questions as to why the Lancaster power brokers needed to “consult” with a fire inspector.
The mechanics of payoffs are shockingly easy once someone decides to sell out.
William says
Coming together according to Wrecks and the Lancaster political machine means do as we say or we will cut off your campaign donations. How else can you explain things the new CCA that will funnel Palmdale ratepayer money into Wrecks’s coffers?
District 2 Planner says
I am applying for the position. My plan is to get Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google to relocate their corporate and operational offices here. I will also be lobbying Tesla to do the same. Palmdale is a world-class city with cultural amenities, infrastructure, and tech talent.
Palmdalian says
Good luck. Rex and his henchmen are steering everything they can to Lancaster. His campaign contributions and smear tactics paid off handsomely. He now controls the council.
The problem is, once any of those corporations does any research on Rex and Lancaster they will steer clear.
Dan Becker says
I agree with you on the sellout council of Palmdale! The portly Mayor cannot do anything without Marvin’s approval, we have lost our edge and have taken a backseat to Lancaster. Very sad times.
