LITTLEROCK – The driver of a 1993 Nissan who was killed in a head-on crash with a big rig in Littlerock Saturday morning was identified as 27-year-old Julio Flores of Pearblossom, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Officer.
The fatal collision happened around 12:50 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, on the Pearblossom (138) Highway east of Hampel Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Flores was driving a 1993 Nissan westbound on the highway when he traveled to the left over the double yellow lines of the center median and into the path of a big rig that was traveling eastbound, the CHP reported. Flores was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 51-year-old man driving the 2017 Freightliner was rushed to Palmdale Regional Medical Center with minor injuries, the CHP said.

Another idiot driver says
Oh you must have been in the car with him .
How can you say he was not intoxicated or distracted unless you were in the car wake up
Laughing says
Lets play your trip in reverse.
Were you in the car?
How do you know he had not fallen asleep after a long day?
(Been there, done that, got a huge ticket once the CHP woke me up and got me pulled over)
You sounds stupid says
So you must be related to this idiot in some way to stick up for him for not knowing anything

It was nothing to make fun of. This man burned to death. I can still hear the explosions. Maybe if you don’t have any thing nice to say, you should just shut your mouth. I watched for what seemed forever and I will never forget this tragedy. Thank God I wasn’t 15 seconds faster or me and my family wouldn’t be here either.

What is amazing to me is that no one here connects the awful street condition and lack of lighting and the cement dividers in the middle of the road to the fact that the mayor is an auto accident lawyer. Oh, I forgot to add in the cameras at intersections. Its all set up perfectly for an accident lawyer. The mayor even brags about the amount of money his law firm had made. There is a very clear conflict of interest here and no one does a thing about it. He keeps getting re-elected. I believe that most of the accidents here would not have happened is some lights and street maintenance were applied. Thats just my opinion though.
Tom says
Wrong city Sandra Pearblossom does not have a mayor who is a lawyer. So there is no conflict of interest if Rex sues the state for accidents on 138.
Idiots keep blame in the Rogue when it's the idiots that are driving the cars says
We have idiots in Palmdale. Do not know how to drive same thing as in Lancaster so quit blaming the damn road
Hcf says
What is amazing to me Sandra is that you have no idea what you are talking about. Did you research who the mayor of Littlerock is before you posted this load of rubbish?

Homie learned the hard way that it’s a good idea to stay in your lane. The herd just got thinned out a bit.
