Two killed in Palmdale shooting, suspect at large

PALMDALE – Two men were shot and killed in Palmdale Monday night, authorities said.

It happened around 9:40 p.m. Monday, April 6, in the 38700 block of 10th Street East, south of East Avenue Q, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

“Palmdale Sheriff’s deputies responded… regarding a call of gunshot victims at the location.  Upon their arrival, they found two male Black adults suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso,” the news release states.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the second was taken to a hospital where he died, the department said. Their identities have not been released pending next of kin notification.

There were several people at the location at the time of the shooting, but no weapon was recovered, the LASD said.

A description of the shooter and motive for the shooting were not immediately available. No further information on the incident was released.

If you was brought up with a mom and dad, who whooped yo butt, who taught you to not be a follower of fools, but to seek out wisdom. who displayed love for one another, and hard work in there occupation. Even if you have these type of parents in the ghetto areas like from 3rdst-12st , your chances of selling drugs and gang banging is slimmer, yet possible. bottom line is, the next generation will be worst then the present because of this, men cannot step up to the plate of being a father, and women are just silly and chance what they cant have, its an endless cycle. Life was not meant to be like that, god did not intend for this to happened, at the end of it all, at the root, it all boils down to love.

    • Ron: Gotta love the white culture; mass shooters like Stephen Paddock (Las Vegas); Connecticut shooter killing 22 children; too many more to mention but anyone that takes the time to look at the big picture knows it isn’t about culture.

      • Even with all the mass shootings gun violence by blacks stills more in black communities. It is a culture that no on ever wants to except. They have the highest rate of single mothers, highest rates of black on black crime, the small black community is responsible for around half of murders within the united states. It is ABSOLUTELY about a culture. Until it addressed and acknowledged , it will never end

          • I can see many mistakes in your sentences KDcali. You can call people dumb, but the truth is the truth. You don’t insult a whole race by stating facts. Facts don’t discriminate, they are evidence as to the world we live in. If someone is insulted by these facts because they are part of that race, that is dumb. No one ever said “all blacks”. Just, these are the presented facts. However, what you are saying is subjective.

        • Have of the murders in the United States? No! It is called gang culture, whether black gangs, white gangs, Asian gangs, Neo-Nazi gangs, etc.. Until cultural racism is addressed, it will never end. To make sweeping generalizations against a race, or ethnic group is a vile mind-set. Racism is a sign of a lack of psychological maturity and integration.
