The general plan is Palmdale will continue to spiral into the ghetto it has become.
The Mayor needs to be less white

Palmdale was better off when it wasnt under Lancasters control. Its still head and shoulders better than Rexville but nothing good comes out of being a Lancaster colony.

Actually, Lancaster is really “Palmdale Adjacent”, Palmdale’s bedroom community.
Before the pandemic, there was little shopping in Lancaster other than Walmart and thrift stores.
It’s not just the Mall in Palmdale but all the surrounding businesses in every direction.
47th Street East has built up nicely. By itself it is a more comprehensive retail area than anywhere in Lancaster.
Palmdale will eventually have a multi-modal transformation center and an airport.
The folks that criticize Palmdale would likely find the same problems wherever they went. It’s not the city. It’s them. They attract bad stuff around them wherever they go and think it’s the city they live in. Every city has problems. I’ve lived in Palmdale over 30 years with hardly any problems like the folks here who seem to know the people in the crime stories personally. It’s the world they live in.
Lancaster has…Rex.
