PALMDALE – Starting Monday, April 19, the Palmdale Oasis Park Recreation Center will begin serving as a Los Angeles County-operated COVID-19 vaccination site, officials announced.
The Palmdale location is one of two northern Los Angeles County locations opening on April 19 to replace the Six Flags Magic Mountain vaccination site, which will cease operations on April 18. The other location is the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita.
The College of the Canyons and Palmdale Oasis Park Recreation Center vaccination sites will each have the ability to administer up to 2,000 vaccinations per day and will provide walk-up appointment options, county officials said.
“Ensuring equitable vaccine access for communities in the North County is a priority and I appreciate the collaboration between the County and our community partners… Moving forward, we are continuing to provide crucial vaccine accessibility for residents in both the Antelope and Santa Clarita Valleys,” said Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger.
Residents can make vaccination appointments by visiting VaccinateLACounty.com.

Dumb! says
Who is administering the vaccines at this location? The webpage link takes you to the main page and there are over 12 entities administering the vaccine. Do you have to click each link? That’s just stupid, as always you don’t think or plan things thoroughly.

Pick one that you would like. I think it’s great that there are many options.
